Sushi & Scorpion bowl! Excellent Friday night after a LONG week of work. I completed a goal on my bucket list: learn to use chopsticks! I ate my whole dinner, even the rice, with my chopsticks! No problem!
Sun! Pool! Wine coolers! Romance novel! - afternoon has been wonderful!
My friend Allan tattooed me a few months ago & in honor of his friend Liberty, my uncle Mick (who have both passed away after a long fight against cancer) & my career goal, as a nurse, to somehow make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer, he tattooed me for free! Instead of paying Allan I made donations to the foundation Liberty worked with. I love that cancer ribbon tattoo! the word hope has so much meaning behind it & butterflies are a beautiful symbol that to me represent the potential to live a beautiful life!
Allan posted a status on facebook today in Liberty’s memory, rip girl! And actually, my uncle passed away last summer, rip uncle Mick (the whole family loves & misses you) Sunny warm days like today make me thank God for my blessings & comforts me with the feeling that all my loved ones in heaven are smiling down, embracing me with their love!
:) manicure/pedicure, summer dress & Mexican food. All favorites. All putting me in a good, relaxing mood.
Well…. Last night I locked my key to my lock in my locker. Today the police broke it off & now, tonight, without a lock I figured I’d clean my locker out.
Sad moment when I finally parted with my first ever stethoscope, that I got 4 years ago when I started nursing school. It’s been stored in my locker for the past year. You see, a year ago it fell into a chair full of diarrhea and then the old man couldn’t stand any longer & sat his diarrhea butt right on top of it. I could never bring myself to put that thing back in my ears, even after the 100 times I cleaned it with the super duper sani wipes we have here at the hospital.
Maybe parting with it is a sign… A sign that I’m ready to pass the boards… Like, the end of nursing school & the start of my nursing career
I like that theory hey !
